Hot Springs Residence

We engaged with our clients in a pre-construction effort in 2023 as they were designing the final piece of their estate project - a 1200sf ADU over a 3-car existing garage. As the team moved into final design and permitting in 2024, they trusted ACI with the execution of this jewel-box of an ADU build and garage remodel. This project features Rheinzink standing seam as the siding and roofing, Fleetwood doors and windows, custom ridge skylight, all cantilevered off the original footprint of the garage structure into the Hot Springs hillside. The interiors required the utmost precision in finish carpentry and tile work to create a space that feels more like a 5-star spa than a guest house. The garage features custom hemlock ceilings, fold-up garage doors from the Netherlands, oak wall paneling throughout and a bathroom tiled from floor to ceiling in custom 3x3 tiles, with no cuts.
